Product Overview

The HBsAg Test Kit is a sandwich fluorescence immunoassay designed for detection of hepatitis B surface antigen. HBsAg is an important marker used in screening, diagnosis and monitoring of hepatitis B virus infection.

Intended Use

For in vitro quantitative determination of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in human serum or plasma as an aid in diagnosis of HBV infection.

Clinical Significance

Supports hepatitis B screening programs, blood donor screening, infection monitoring and liver disease evaluation.

Test Principle

Lateral flow sandwich fluorescence immunoassay where HBsAg present in the sample binds labelled monoclonal antibodies forming immune complexes detected quantitatively by the analyzer.
