Product Overview

The Troponin T Test Kit is a fluorescence immunoassay designed for quantitative determination of cardiac Troponin T (cTnT) in human serum, plasma or whole blood specimens. Troponin T is a highly specific biomarker released into circulation following myocardial injury and plays an essential role in early diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome and myocardial infarction.

Intended Use

For in vitro quantitative determination of cardiac Troponin T in human blood samples to aid in diagnosis of myocardial infarction and cardiac injury.

Clinical Significance

Helps early detection of myocardial infarction, differentiation of cardiac chest pain, risk assessment of acute coronary syndrome and monitoring of cardiac injury.

Test Principle

Sandwich fluorescence immunoassay where labelled anti‑Troponin T antibodies bind Troponin T forming complexes measured by the analyzer.
