Description
Product Overview
The TSH Test Kit is designed for quantitative determination of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in human whole blood, serum or plasma using fluorescence immunoassay technology. TSH is produced by the pituitary gland and regulates the production of thyroid hormones.
Measurement of TSH levels assists clinicians in evaluating thyroid gland function and diagnosing thyroid disorders.
Clinical Significance
Thyroid stimulating hormone plays an important role in regulating metabolism and thyroid hormone production.
Measurement of TSH is useful for:
• Diagnosis of hypothyroidism
• Diagnosis of hyperthyroidism
• Monitoring thyroid hormone therapy
• Evaluation of thyroid gland function
• Screening for thyroid disorders
Key Features
• Quantitative fluorescence immunoassay
• High sensitivity thyroid hormone detection
• Rapid results within minutes
• Suitable for hospital laboratories and diagnostic centers
• Compatible with immunofluorescence analyzers
Sample Type
Whole blood
Serum
Plasma
Test Time
Approximately 15 minutes
Compatible Analyzers
Compatible with fluorescence immunoassay analyzers including GETEIN 1100, GETEIN 1160 and FIA 8000 analyzers.
Principle of the Test
The TSH Test Kit is based on fluorescence immunoassay technology. The sample reacts with fluorescence labeled antibodies specific to thyroid stimulating hormone. The fluorescence signal generated is measured by the immunofluorescence analyzer and is proportional to the concentration of TSH present in the sample.
Reference Range
Normal TSH levels in adults typically range between 0.4 and 4.0 mIU/L, although reference ranges may vary depending on laboratory standards and clinical conditions.
Applications
This product can be effectively utilized in:
• Hospital laboratories
• Endocrinology diagnostics
• Thyroid function testing
• Diagnostic laboratories
• Point-of-care testing centers
Intended Use
The TSH Test Kit is intended for in vitro diagnostic use for quantitative determination of thyroid stimulating hormone in human whole blood, serum or plasma using fluorescence immunoassay analyzers in clinical laboratories and hospital settings.
Related Tests
Related thyroid and hormone tests include T3 Test Kit, T4 Test Kit and AMH Test Kit used in hospital and diagnostic laboratories.
