Product Overview

The NT-proBNP / cTnI Combo Test Kit is a dual-marker fluorescence immunoassay designed for simultaneous quantitative determination of NT-proBNP and cardiac Troponin I. NT-proBNP is released in response to ventricular volume expansion and pressure overload, while Troponin I is a highly specific biomarker of myocardial injury.

Intended Use

For in vitro quantitative determination of NT-proBNP and cardiac Troponin I in serum, plasma or whole blood to aid diagnosis of heart failure, myocardial infarction and acute coronary syndrome.

Clinical Significance

Helps diagnosis of heart failure, risk stratification of cardiac patients, early detection of myocardial injury and monitoring therapeutic response.

Test Principle

Sandwich fluorescence immunoassay using monoclonal antibodies coated on test lines for NT-proBNP and cTnI forming antigen-antibody complexes measured by analyzer.
