Product Overview

The PG I / PG II Test Kit is a quantitative fluorescence immunoassay designed to assess gastric mucosal function. Combined measurement of Pepsinogen I and Pepsinogen II ratio provides valuable clinical information regarding gastric atrophy and related gastrointestinal pathological conditions.

Intended Use

For in vitro quantitative determination of Pepsinogen I (PG I) and Pepsinogen II (PG II) in serum or plasma as an auxiliary diagnostic tool for gastric mucosal atrophy.

Clinical Significance

Supports non‑invasive gastric mucosal assessment, helps identify gastric fundus gland atrophy, assists gastrointestinal disease monitoring and clinical screening.

Test Principle

Sandwich lateral flow fluorescence immunoassay where labelled monoclonal antibodies bind PG I and PG II forming complexes detected quantitatively by analyzer.
