The Dengue IgG / IgM Antibody Test Kit is a fluorescence immunoassay designed for simultaneous quantitative determination of dengue IgG and IgM antibodies. Dengue virus infection induces immune response leading to production of IgM antibodies in early phase followed by IgG antibodies in later stages. Measurement of these antibodies assists clinicians in diagnosing primary or secondary dengue infection.

Intended Use

For in vitro quantitative detection of dengue IgG and IgM antibodies in serum, plasma or whole blood as an aid in diagnosis of dengue virus infection.

Clinical Significance

Supports early dengue diagnosis, differentiates primary and secondary infection, assists disease monitoring and helps epidemiological screening.

Test Principle

Fluorescence immunoassay where labelled dengue antigen binds IgG or IgM antibodies forming complexes captured on test lines and measured quantitatively by analyzer.
